Viaje A Los Amuletos

Guatemalan furniture designers Estefanía de Ros and Gustavo Quintana-Kennedy of Agnes Studio are joined by Photographer Andrés Altamirano as they travel across Guatemala to document the landscapes, materials and artisans behind their first solo show in Mexico City 'Amuletos'.

Published by Lindsay with a poem by Maya K’iche’-Kaqchikel poet Rosa Chávez, This book, Viaje Los a Amuletos, is the story of their ‘Journey to Amuletos’. It is an exploration and documentation of Guatemala’s cultural and artistic heritage. It is a journey of discovery, of materiality and of place – a search for the symbols and elements of good luck and fortune that connect us as humans, weaving together the threads of ancient tradition and contemporary design.
